What is Bibliophiles?

Bibliophiles is an Australian based book subscription service. Each month we hand pick a book for you, or your chosen book lover, based on the genres you have told us you like.

How does it work?

Our Bibliophiles are busily reading new releases and old favourites to help you build your personal library. Each month we will choose a book to share with you and it will arrive, beautifully wrapped ready to enjoy. 

A subscription for you

1. Choose a subscription category

2. Choose how long your subscription should go for - 3, 6 or 12 months or ongoing

3. Fill in your details and complete payment.

A gift subscription -

3. Fill in your details and we will send you a Bibliophiles gift certificate for you to send to your book lover.

What categories are available?

We've kept it simple - choose fiction, non-fiction or both (Best of both worlds) or children's books. Select your favourite genres or areas of interest and we'll do the rest.

Purchasing for a child? Simply tell us the child's age today and we'll send books that grow with them over the year.

Can I select the books?

Leave the hard work to us! Our Bibliophiles are busily reading new releases, re-reading classics and hunting down interesting titles. We'll match these to the subscription you have chosen. 

Can I return a book if I already have it?

We cannot guarantee you won't receive a book you already have - we'd love to visit everyone's library but suspect you don't all want us in your house! At Bibliophiles our aim is to share our love of reading. If you received a book you already have, we ask that you pass it on to someone else - a friend, a loved one or donate it to a charity or library. 

We can also update your reading preferences to minimise duplication. Simply email us at 


How do I pay for a subscription? 

All payments are managed through our secure payment platform and include postage and GST. You can pay with VISA, MasterCard and AmericanExpress and PayPal. We do not store your credit card details after a purchase has been made.

Is postage included?

Yes. Postage to anywhere in Australia is included in the subscription price. Where possible, we use Sendle - an Australian-owned carbon-neutral delivery service. For some rural and remote areas we use Australia Post. 

If you would like to send a subscription overseas, contact us at and we can provide you with a quote. 

Do I need to be home to receive my books?

No. Our delivery partners - Sendle and Australia Post - will deliver your books to your delivery address. Small books do not require a signature on arrival. Larger books may need a signature but we'll be in contact if that is the case.  

When will I receive my book?

Orders close on the 15th of each month and we send out books the following week. Submit your order before the 15th of the month and you will receive a book that same month. If you submit your order after the 15th, your first book will arrive the following month. 

If you have not received your book by the end of the month, contacts us at and we'll help track it down. 

Can I update my postal address?

Of course. Just email us at and we'll update your details.
